D&D Resources: Great Character Sheets
These days I mostly prefer D&D Beyond for managing characters, but paper sheets still win often enough: keeping the table simple, dodging device distraction, or playing somewhere with spotty internet.
The standard character sheet does a decent job, but it’s very generic. Plenty of alternatives exist—some look great at the cost of usability, others strip down to the basics for lighter rules. The ones I keep coming back to are the class-specific sheets on DMs Guild.
Class Character Sheets – The Bundle has a specialized version for each class, with base class capabilities already filled in. Form-fillable PDFs let you type in the character’s details, save the file, and reprint when things change. If you can edit PDFs, you can fine-tune the editable versions even further.
They’re pay-what-you-want with a suggested price of $4.95 (including free). Pay what you can if the sheets help your table—they’re good enough that I highly recommend trying them.
